Contact me for projects, rates, and prints.

While attending Cal Poly SLO for journalism, I often reported on public works projects and environmental management for Mustang News on KCPR. I have always enjoyed working on shorter, newsier pieces, but I feel that I thrive most when I can sink my teeth into the minutia of a story.

In my solo production of the documentary film, "Rigs Are On," I found my niche in telling the stories of others' triumphs, determination, and true grit. I am focused on seeking out the untold story of action sports athletes by combining my journalism degree, skills in photography and videography, and my innate attraction to the outdoors. I want to dig deep into the mindset of those who seek the high adrenaline of adventure sports, such as downhill mountain biking, and find out what drives these athletes.

While working on documentaries, I also work full-time in professional freelance media. Over the past year, the projects I have worked on have refined my workflow, expedited my learning process, allowed me to work with teams, and given me immense hands-on experience. I have had the opportunity to use Red and Arri cameras, shoot product photography in a studio setting, and work on professional video sets.

I am always interested in the commercial side of photo and video work but continually find myself reverting to journalism. Thus, I am a commercial photographer and videographer by trade, but a journalist at heart.
